A Texas construction accident resulted in death on Monday, according to the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The man’s name has not been released, but his death is currently being investigated.

The man who died Monday fell 35 feet down a 4×6 foot shaft, but no more details have been released at this time. More than 7,000 occupational injuries and illnesses occurred at Texas construction and extraction sites in 2005, many of which involved broken bones, burns, back injuries, and electrocution.
