According to KWTX, Toyota plants in Texas will be halting production due to recent recalls of vehicles with Texas defective products, which includes problems with gas pedals, floor mats, and brakes.

Production at the Texas plant will be “idle” while the company handles the recalls of  the Texas defective products.

The company does not want to build up an inventory that its dealers cannot handle in the wake of the Texas defective product problems.
