The holidays can be stressful for anyone, but one man’s family is probably experiencing more stress after a house fire injured him.
According to KXAN, a 60-year-old male has suffered Austin burn injuries after a house fire sent him to the hospital a few days after Christmas.
The Austin burn injury occurred Monday afternoon at the man’s home on Broom Loop. The Austin fire began in the garage, moved to the attic, and then spread to the rest of the home, causing the man to suffer Austin burn injuries to his face, as well as respiratory problems.
Another person in the home at the time of the Austin fire was not injured.
