Christopher Carver is responsible for handling both trial and appellate work. Chris is dedicated to a team approach to litigation that uses cutting edge technology to tell our clients’ stories to the modern jury.

Chris graduated from Texas Tech University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts in political science. During college, Chris was on the Texas Tech debate team and placed in the top 16 teams at the Cross Examination Debate Association National Tournament in 1991. In 1993, Chris received his Master of Arts in communication studies from Texas Tech University. While in graduate school, Chris served as the Texas Tech debate coach.

In 1996, Chris received his Juris Doctor from The University of Texas School of Law. In his final year of law school, Chris won both the fall and spring senior mock trial tournaments, including winning the Best Overall Speaker award during the spring senior mock trial tournament. In addition, Chris represented the University of Texas at the national mock trial tournament. Chris was not only awarded admission into the National Order of Barristers (a courtroom advocacy honor society), he served as the National Secretary in 1996.

Following law school, Chris has devoted his practice to representing people who have been injured due to the negligence of others. Chris is the former president of the South Plains Trial Lawyers Association and was honored as a finalist for the South Plains Young Lawyer of the Year in 2000. In 2003, Chris was honored by the debate and public speaking honor fraternity, Delta Sigma Roe-Tao Kappa Alpha as their National Alumnus of the Year for his work in the courtroom as well as in the community. He has tried over 50 cases to verdict as first chair trial counsel and has served as primary appellate counsel in appeals before seven different courts of appeals, including the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Chris has served as both trial and appellate counsel in cases which have appeared before the United States Supreme Court and the Texas Supreme Court and is board certified in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

In his personal life, Chris believes strongly in giving back to the community. He was a two term President of the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Texas. He loves to spend time with his wife and two children and enjoys traveling.
