(979) 764-8002Mark E. Cannon received his undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas in 1996, graduating on the Dean’s and President’s Lists for academic excellence. He then attended the Texas Tech University School of Law, earning his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in 2000. For over twenty years, Mr. Cannon’s practice has been focused exclusively on litigation. Mark is licensed to practice before all Courts in the State of Texas. He is also licensed in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
Mark’s professional focus is centered exclusively on personal injury cases, including automobile accidents, wrongful death, product and premises liability, and catastrophic personal injury. Mark’s philosophy is to maintain a very aggressive attitude towards his cases by not allowing a great deal of time to lapse between the time the client comes to Daniel Stark for help by proactively handling all aspects of the client’s case, from pre-suit negotiations through the filing of a lawsuit and trial, all the while maintaining a collegial and professional relationship with opposing counsel and the Court. Mr. Cannon initiated this practice while serving the citizens of Smith County as a Felony Prosecutor for two years.
Outside of the office, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. They are active members of South Spring Baptist Church in Tyler. Mark is an automotive enthusiast, always on the lookout for the next project that he can get his hands dirty on. The family also enjoys traveling and seeing the world.
